Ski Levels
Understanding your ski level is not about putting you in a box. It is simply a starting point.
Everyone progresses differently, and how you ski on one day can feel completely different on another. Conditions, confidence, and experience all play a part. The aim here is just to give a clear guide, so we can tailor your time on the mountain properly from the start.
Why This Matters
Choosing the right level is less about ability, and more about getting the most out of your time.
A more considered approach means adapting not just to your technique, but to how you think, how you react, and what you want from your skiing. This is where real progress tends to happen.
Beginner
You are new to skiing or have only skied a little.
You may be learning how to use the lifts, control your speed, and make your first turns on gentle slopes. The focus here is building confidence and making the basics feel natural and relaxed.
Intermediate
You are comfortable on most pistes and can link your turns, but there is still inconsistency.
You might find steeper slopes, variable snow, or busier conditions more challenging. This is often where the biggest improvements can be made, refining technique and building confidence across the whole mountain.
Advanced
You are confident on all pistes and can ski a variety of terrain.
You may already explore off-piste or want to push into more technical skiing. At this level, the focus becomes more precise, improving efficiency, control, and adapting to more demanding conditions.
ow, or busier conditions more challenging. This is often where the biggest improvements can be made, refining technique and building confidence across the whole mountain.
Pro
You are a highly experienced skier, comfortable in all terrain and conditions.
You ski off-piste regularly and have a strong technical foundation. At this level, the focus is on refinement, improving efficiency, control, and decision-making in more complex terrain.
Small adjustments, but a noticeable difference in how you ski.
Not Sure Where You Fit?
That is completely normal.
If you are unsure, it is always better to have a quick conversation before booking. It allows us to understand your experience properly and make sure your time on the mountain is pitched exactly right from the start.
