About Roddy Willis

One summer teaching windsurfing in Turkey gave me a taste for life outdoors. After that, I spent a year working in London — enough to realise the city wasn’t where I wanted to be. The Alps drew me in, and my first job in Val d’Isère was as a plongeur, washing dishes. From there I worked my way through all sorts of roles — from hotel kitchens to ski-school technical director — and even completed a degree in furniture design along the way.

Today, I hold the highest ski teaching qualifications in Switzerland and France. Alongside these, I’m also an NLP Master Practitioner and NLP Sports Coach, bringing together world-class technical training with mindset and performance coaching. I combine a love of the mountains, years of skiing experience, and a relaxed, easygoing style to help every skier — from first-timers stepping onto skis, to experts tackling advanced terrain — achieve more than they thought possible.
